So many women desire to live their God-inspired dreams, which often includes being in service to others, but not everyone wants to invest the time, energy, or resources neccessary. I have been guilty of this myself in the past.

God-inspired dreams
I recall the time that God first whispered to my heart the desires to help others succeed in life. Prior to hearing from God, I invested so much of my time in God’s presence, seeking His will and purpose for my life, studying, meditating on His word, and praying.
However, no sooner than I realize that God had given me a dream that came straight from His heart to mine, I immediately took my focus of of Him, the giver of the desire, and started focusing on what “I” thought He was saying to me (writing, speaking, blogging, life coaching).
God’s word states,
many are the plans in a mans’s heart.
I indeed started making many plans. I got so caught up in what I was doing that I no longer had time or the energy to invest in God.
Before I knew it, I was looking at all that “I” needed.
I claimed the desire that God spoke to my heart and I set the intent to live out the dream, however how soon did I forget that God alone knew the plans that He had for me.
Not only that, I failed to really listen what God spoke to me many years ago.
He whispered to me one afternoon while walking in my old neighborhood. I was strolling along, for no purpose other than exercise. But, as oftentimes happen when I take a leisure walk, God is able to get my attentions, because it’s time out from my busy schedule and the noise of everydy life.
I recall walking and looking around at my neighbors houses and landscaping when out of the blue I heard this whisper from within that said “you are a woman on the move and you will empower others to succeed in life.” That was it.
I kew without a doubt that the whisper was the voice of God, because from the time I was a child I had become accustomed to hearing His voice and receiving direction from Him for my life.
John 10: 27 states,
“My sheep respond to my voice, and I know who they are. They follow me”
The moment I heard His voice, I got busy trying to do what He said. Because as past experience had taught me that whenever I followed God’s direction, my life would always change for the better.
What I failed to hear from God that day, was that He was calling me to a life of transition, a life of transformation. What I heard was what I thought God wanted me to do immediately (help others succeed in life), little did I understand then about what God was really saying to me , “there would be a time of darkness, a time of waiting, a time of aloneness, a time of transformation, transitioning (a woman on the move).“
Some dreams from God requires that we transition from who we have become into who God really created us to be. This is especially true for women who are in the season of their lives where they are searching for more. More truth about who they really are within. More of a sense of purpose in life. More meaning.
Most importantly is investing time in seeking after the heart of God, the one who is able to encourage us to hold on to our faith, the one who holds all the wisdom we need to to turn our dreams into our reality.
God-inspired dreams are about living the ultimate purpose and plan that God has for you. It’s about utilizing your unique gifts, about creativity.
They are about waiting, growing closer to God, transforming, transitioning, about spiritual growth and maturity so that when your season arises to give birth to the dream that God has whispered within your heart, you will be ready to pursue it with the heart of God. Only then will you have what it takes to help others succeed in life.
