Every busy woman struggles to find quiet time. Quiet time allows you to sort out the chaos of your everyday life. It allows you uninterrupted time to sync into your God-space, think through the details of your life, so that you can reawaken with new thought processes on how to make best use of your resources and to strategize.
Consistent quiet time, is a time of focused intention to just be still and listen to the wisdom of God, speaking to you from the God-space within you. Most often I grab a cup of coffee in the wee hours of the morning and just start talking with God, telling Him about my concerns, my dreams, or asking questions. Sometimes I just sit there in complete stillness. I always keep a journal nearby to capture His whispers. And, no matter what, I always get up inspired and refreshed.
Consistent quiet time allows you not only time to connect with and obtain wisdom from God, it helps you to guard your heart against the distractions and chaos of life. It stops you from getting to the point of becoming too overwhelmed or even worst, burnout, which often is when women fall the hardest and sometimes have a hard time bouncing back, if at all.
